Quality through position accuracy

Apart from the individual components used, quality of the component-specific fixtures is important in robot-supported manufacturing technology. In fixtures construction, IMP uses both clamping assemblies and solutions it developed itself.

IMP fixtures are characterised by their position and location precision. The fixtures also offer a high level of adaptability and process reliability.

In order to optimise processes, IMP carries out tactile and contactless inspections and 3D measurements during the construction of fixtures. The results of the measurements are useful, among other things, for parts inspection, CAD comparisons, reverse engineering and also 3D documentation.
